AAC Maximus was bred by legendary grass breeder Bruce Coulman at the Saskatoon Research Centre. This variety was bred to have a yield advantage over Fleet Meadow Bromegrass in the Western Canadian Prairies. AAC Maximus was selected from a parent population of Paddock, Regar and four lines from Fleet.
A more upright, slightly taller plant than Fleet, this is an excel-lent choice for your next hay or pasture mix.
